Community Welfare Centre (CWC) is a non-profit making voluntary organization working in the field of Health, HIV/AIDS, Environment and associated social issues. Currently, CWC activities are spread over five districts of Nepal (Makwanpur, Rautahat, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur). Registered in 1999 at Makawanpur District Administrative Office (Reg. No. 620/056/57), CWC is also affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC), National NGOs Network against AIDS Nepal (NANGAN), NGO Federation and NGOCC of Nepal. CWC comprised 19 committed members governed by a seven membered board of executives and three membered advisory committee to support CWC in need. The board members are selected through election in each three years.
Vision:
Broadly, CWC envisages assisting the government, non-government, and international organizations as a supportive partner agency on creating economically and socially independent lives with focus to disadvantaged, vulnerable and stigmatized sections of the society through the activities in the field of Health, HIV/AIDS, Environment, and other relevant areas.
Mission:
Social Contribution on Creating environment for the inclusion of risk and vulnerable groups to lead them social and economic self- sufficiency for a better life to live in.
Goal:
To ensure the inclusion of risk and vulnerable groups in the programs for uplifting their social, economic and health status launched by different national and international organizations and assist the target group on benefiting from the focused program.
